A Journey of Emotions

Our relais is the ideal retreat for those seeking a mix of tranquility and adventure. In the surroundings of the property, you will find a rich array of activities and itineraries that will make your stay unforgettable.

We are located in a hilly geographical area between the Piacenza plain and the Ligurian border, a meeting point of four regions: Piedmont, Lombardy, Emilia, and Liguria. The landscape features four valleys—Val Trebbia, Val Nure, Val Tidone, and Val d’Arda—each crossed by a watercourse from which it takes its name, all flowing into the Po River.

For hiking enthusiasts, there are numerous possibilities for walking or cycling routes that wind through panoramic views, lush forests, and charming villages. Cyclists will find trails suitable for different skills and preferences, allowing them to explore the valleys while enjoying the tranquility of the surrounding nature. There are also picturesque horseback riding trails.

During the summer, the Trebbia River, famous for its crystal-clear waters, offers the opportunity for a refreshing swim or a moment of relaxation on its small pebble beaches, immersed in an unspoiled natural environment.

The area also boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage. You will discover majestic castles, ancient residences, places steeped in history, and picturesque villages waiting to be explored.

The provincial capital, Piacenza, is reachable in 20 minutes. Bordered to the north by the Po River, separating it from neighboring Lombardy, not far from Piedmont to the west, and Liguria to the south. Concentrated around its historic center, rich in centuries of events, the city welcomes visitors with stately palaces, ancient churches, and lively squares. From Palazzo Farnese to the Ricci Oddi art gallery, passing through one of the numerous churches.

But this is also a land for food enthusiasts, projected eastward towards the Italian Food Valley, of which it is a part. It is famous for its three PDOs – the three cured meats: coppa, pancetta, and salame – for its abundance of fresh pasta, including the traditional pisarei e fasò, tortelli with tail, and anolini in broth, and for its excellent local wines. The territory offers numerous typical trattorias and historic shops, and there are also food and wine trails that will lead you to discover local delicacies. Don’t miss the local food festivals to immerse yourself in the culinary traditions of the area, accompanied by a good glass of Colli Piacentini wine.

Our team will always be ready and at your disposal to assist you in planning tours, excursions, and activities and offer advice and recommendations to make your stay a unique experience.
